Youth Services

MSV offers quality Youth programming

At Marillac St. Vincent Family Services, our youth are working together with our staff to develop positive relationships that will allow them to discover who they are and learn how to be leaders in their communities. They are developing the tools that they will carry with them throughout their lives, steering them away from the violence and emerging as global citizens of tomorrow.

Kids need a safe place to learn, grow, and have fun after school. An increasing number of young people are left unsupervised both when school lets out and during summer months which could have dangerous consequences for many Chicago youth. That’s why Marillac St. Vincent has invested resources into building robust programming for school-age kids.

Our school-age program is licensed by the Illinois Department of Human Services (IDHS). The program is year-round, Monday-Friday 7:00 AM-6:00 PM. The program is before school and after school during the school year, with full-day care when schools are closed. During the summer, kids automatically transition into our full-day summer camp.

Hope Junior this website

Marillac St. Vincent’s neighborhood youth program. What started as a spin-off from Project Hope focusing on pregnancy prevention, serving only girls, has blossomed into multi-faceted, year-round, extra-curricular initiative that has helped shaped the lives of thousands of children and teens over the last 30 years.

Hope Junior offers children and teens high-quality after-school program activities and opportunities during non-school hours. The goal of Hope Junior is to provide youth with positive experiences at a young age that will translate into positive choices in the future.

We believe it is important to expose the children to as many opportunities and experiences so they can develop the skills to make positive choices in their lives and for their futures.
