What is your role at MSV?
I am a Family Support Worker on the Community Outreach team.
Where are you from originally?
I am from Chicago!
What would the autobiography of your life be called?
My autobiography would be called "The Misunderstood Gemini".
Can you describe the work you’re doing at MSV?
I walk alongside parents and help them advocate for themselves and their children in all aspects of human endeavor.
How did you get into your field of work?
I went into this work (early childhood education) right after college, literally two months after I graduated. I have been a part of it ever since.
Which MSV core value do you think is most important?
Can not pick just one. All of these core values are important, they are the pieces to the puzzle that creates the MSV picture. Without one the picture is incomplete.
Please tell us about a time you embodied the core value you chose.
I attempt to live these every day of my life. I am human and I have fallen short of the core values from time to time, but it is not about how many times you fall; it is how many times you get up.
What is your favorite MSV memory or what are you most looking forward to about working at MSV?
I look forward to working with parents. Helping whomever I can change the state of their lives to whatever their definition of "better" is.
What do you like to do for fun?
I read, draw, play piano and compete in martial arts (Chinese Kung Fu).
What is one thing everyone should know about MSV?
MSV is a place that accepts everyone with open arms.
