Peter Beale-DelVecchio’s Holiday Letter to the Marillac St. Vincent Community
Connecting Communities | December 2021
Dear Friends,
The end of one year and the start of another seems to inspire us to reflect. This reflection is typically filled with wrapping up projects while wrapping presents and planning strategic initiatives for the coming year all the while planning family celebrations. I find myself personally reflecting on our accomplishments while analyzing this year’s overall impact.
Without stating the obvious, 2021 has been a challenging year marked by historical events and unforeseen changes to work and home lives; it has also been a year of learning for all of us, at the team and individual levels.
I can’t say thank you enough to the incredible Marillac St. Vincent team. I’m truly humbled by and beyond appreciative of your relentless commitment to your work and genuine caring for each other and the children, families and seniors that we serve.
Thank you and all of our friends that have supported our work with a financial contribution, by volunteering, by serving on Boards and committees or keeping us and our families in your prayers.
As we start a new year, our goals for 2022 include bringing deeper impact to our clients, a move to pay parity with CPS and beyond for our staff, and a new programmatic initiative to help our adult clients develop new skills and find meaningful and long-lasting careers.
Your commitment to our vision of ending the cycle
of poverty motivates and inspires me and the entire Marillac St. Vincent
family. As we go through 2022 together,
always know that while those we serve may not know your name, they certainly
experience the impact that your contribution makes.
On behalf of the Board of Trustees, staff and clients of Marillac St. Vincent Family Services, I wish you and your family a Blessed Holiday Season and a healthy and Happy New Year.
In gratitude,

Peter Beale-DelVecchio
