MSV staff stationed outside Marillac Social Center to register voters in the community each morning. Youth in the program created hand drawn and painted posters to attract neighbors to visit the booth.
Election Day Preparations Underway at MSV
Connecting Communities | October 2020
With just over 30 days until Election Day, Marillac St. Vincent has shifted into high gear to register new voters and spread awareness about the importance of voting. By focusing their energy on getting out the vote over the summer, MSV teens laid the groundwork in their community to prepare neighbors for November 3. Now, we’re asking for the entire MSV community of staff, clients, volunteers, and supporters to reach out to YOUR friends and neighbors and make sure they cast their vote.
MSV has launched #MSVChicaGOVOTE – a social media campaign designed to drum up excitement for voting and civic engagement this fall. To support you in this, we have developed graphics, photos, and messaging to help motivate your friends on social media to do their part. Use these tools on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, or wherever you are online.
