Tracey Young

M.Ed, Senior Director of Early Learning Programs

Tracey has worked in the early childhood field for 23 years. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice, certification in Childcare Administration and Management from Triton College, and Master of Education in Child Development from Erikson Institute. Tracey was in the inaugural group Barbara Bowman Senior Leaders of Erikson Institute Leadership Academy of policy and advocacy. She has spent most of her career helping to create systems that take a comprehensive approach to working with children and families in the early childhood community and has done extensive work with parents around advocacy and governance. Tracey has also worked as an adjunct instructor at City Colleges and Kendall College, Gateway Professional Development Adviser, and collaborated on children's books for infants and toddlers.
