Marillac St. Vincent Hires New Chief Executive Officer
Anthony C. Chimera, M.B.A., is the new President and Chief Executive Officer of Marillac St. Vincent Family Services (MSV), a social services nonprofit organization working to end the cycle of poverty and violence in the city of Chicago for over one hundred years. “Anthony brings over 25 years of leadership experience to MSV, with deep experience in board and leadership development, nonprofit management, fundraising and development, strategic planning, strategic partnerships and organizational culture. He has dedicated his career to working with mission-driven organizations throughout Chicago.” stated MSV Board Chair, Ken O’Keefe.
Mr. Chimera joins MSV after serving as President and Chief Results Officer at The Kaleidoscope Group, a consulting firm specializing in diversity and inclusion headquartered in Chicago. Previously, Anthony served for over eight years as the Vice President for Institutional Advancement at Adler University, an institution dedicated to educating leaders of social change and advancing individual and community health. At Adler, he was responsible for organizing and building the university’s external affairs/development division and its functions in support of its operations on two campuses located in Chicago and Vancouver, British Columbia, as well as its new Online Campus. Prior to Adler, Anthony was the Executive Director of Development at Dominican University in River Forest where he successfully managed a $50M fundraising campaign and the Vice President for Institutional Advancement at De La Salle Institute located on Chicago's south side where he directed and managed all philanthropic activity and organization-wide planning, including successful management and execution of two major fundraising campaigns.

Anthony holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from the University of Illinois at Chicago, and an M.B.A. in Marketing from Dominican University in River Forest, Illinois. He is a long-time youth sports coach and mentor, and an active member of St. Damian Catholic Parish in Oak Forest, Illinois. Anthony is a Chicago native and resides in Oak Forest with his wife, Sherri, and three children, Francesca, Anthony, and Gabriel.
