On Monday, April 23rd, a Bear Scout Troop from St. Clement
School visited with two of our toddler rooms. 15 boys from Pack 3000, currently
in third-grade, celebrated “Week of the Young Child™" by reading story books and
doing an arts and crafts project. After reading a story about kites, the troop
helped the children to decorate their own kites with construction paper,
string, streamers, and crayons. The finished results looked amazing!
The Bear Scout Troop at St. Clement School was established
to provide an opportunity for boys to build character and develop a spirit of
community service. The boys from Pack
3000 have demonstrated their commitment to service, by engaging in various civic,
environmental conservation, and outreach activities. We are thankful for their time and dedication
to the children at St. Vincent de Paul Center.
