- Visitors and volunteers enter through the main entrance at the corner of Jackson and Francisco, and check in at our front desk.
- Volunteers/visitors will be provided with a visitor badge. Please wear this at all times in the pantry and throughout the building.
- We require that all volunteers be masked.
- We currently limit the total number of volunteers & staff per shift to maintain adequate distancing.
- We recommend that you bring a bottle of water for your shift.
- A reminder email is sent to all volunteers (or the group leader) before they are scheduled to come in with details about parking, what to wear, etc.
We are also a partner with the Greater Chicago Food Depository, and receive a majority of our pantries’ food supply from them. If you or anyone in your network is planning to volunteer (or already does) at GCFD, ask them to tell GCFD they are there on behalf of Marillac St. Vincent—MSV receives credits with them for all volunteer hours performed on our behalf, which are then applied to our orders from GCFD.
Thank you for your support.
