What I Did on My Summer Vacation

After the end of the school year, St. Vincent's received a visit from high school students from St. Andrew's Episcopal School in Potomac, Maryland. The students visited Chicago for a week-long service learning trip and St. Vincent's was one of their stops. The students worked with children in pre-kindergarten classrooms on an arts and crafts project. Everyone had a fun (and messy) time. Their group leader remarked that it was one of the highlights of their week and how St. Vincent's is doing wonderful things for so many people. They even booked a visit for next summer already!
The mission of St. Andrew's Episcopal School is to know and inspire each child in an inclusive community dedicated to exceptional teaching, learning, and service. We believe that they lived their mission during their visit.
