Feast of St. Louise de Marillac

March 15th is the feast day of St. Louise de Marillac. She, along with St. Vincent de Paul, started the Daughters of Charity. In recognition of her life and legacy, Sr. Patricia Dunne, Vice President of Mission Integration for Marillac St. Vincent Family Services, organized lunches to celebrate St. Louise de Marillac at both Centers.

On Tuesday, March 11th, St. Vincent de Paul Center held a luncheon to celebrate the Feast. In addition, we recognized our Senior Services, Outreach Department, Family Services, and Art Therapy staff for their contributions to our organization throughout the year. St. Louise de Marillac is the patroness of Christian Social Workers.

On Friday, March 14th, Marillac Social Center hosted a luncheon to commemorate the Feast Day as well. The certificates were handed out to recognize all the staff who work in the departments that provide social work:  Family Services, Project Hope, Hope Jr., Social Services, Young Expressions and  Catholic Charities.
