Project Hope on ABC 7 News

Zealous Good is a local organization that pairs donors with charities.  Marillac St. Vincent Family Services has received several generous donations as a result of this collaboration.  One recent donation even caught the attention of ABC 7 News.

On Thursday, August 1st, ABC 7 News aired a story that truly demonstrates the power of giving.  Channel 7 visited Marillac Social Center to learn more about Project Hope, a program for parenting and pregnant teens and their families.  The news station sat in on a prenatal nutrition class, as well as a gathering of the FRED group, Fathers Reading Every Day.

The crew also captured the donation of gently used baby items from a generous woman by the name of Wilken Hay. Ms. Hay appreciated that she had the ability to choose who her items would go to someone truly in need, a fact made possible by Zealous Good.

We would like to thank Ms. Hay, all of our generous donors from Zealous Good, Zealous Good, and ABC 7 for their support and generosity to Marillac St. Vincent Family Services.
