Lynde O’Brien is Senior Director of Digital Marketing and Communications for Health Care Service Corporation (HCSC). She launched the social media initiative for Blue Cross and Blue Shield Plans in Illinois, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas at the end of 2008 when few were certain a conservative health insurance company should “engage.” Her team manages digital communications, web self-service promotions, and marketing analytics. She also established the cross channel communications strategy team and the online risk and reputation management initiative.
Lynde joined HCSC in 2005, bringing a strong process and change management background as a GE Capital six sigma black belt. She received a Liberal Arts degree from University of California, Berkeley.
